Last Call before we hibernate

Future you says, "I should have done it in September."

The Happiness Path starts this Thursday September 24, and registration closes tomorrow (Tuesday at 9pm).

If you've been thinking about it, wondering if it's the right fit, talking to your daughter about it, or maybe thinking

“Oh yeah, I still need to look into that …”

This is your moment. 😉

September is a pretty perfect time to start something like this.

A new school year.

A fresh beginning.

New routines.

And an opportunity to get a little ahead of some of the things that can become harder to navigate once the year gets rolling.

Confidence.

Friendships.

Comparison.

Big emotions.

Self-doubt.

Pressure.

Why wait until winter when you can give her a little space to build those skills now?

I don't know.

And from experience, I'll also tell you this:

Fall is a much nicer time to get to us. Mother Nature seems more cooperative 😂

Once winter hits, getting everyone out the door in Calgary becomes an Olympic sport of its own.

So if you've been waiting for the “right time”…

Maybe this is it.

The Happiness Path is a 7-week experience for teen girls to explore confidence, connection, self-awareness, resilience and the tools that help them navigate hard moments, while connecting with other girls in a fun and meaningful way.

Group is capped at 8 girls.

Doors Close Tuesday 9pm.

💗 We start Thursday.

And before I sign off…

I am feeling incredibly grateful for all the moms who joined me for The Mom Behind the Champion this week. Getting to have those honest conversations about what our girls carry beneath the surface is exactly why I love this work so much. Can't wait for next month's conversation💗

With gratitude,

Chantal

Unsolicited Advice: My Favourite

Ah Yes, my favourite. One little thing has somehow become THE BIGGEST THING EVER. And you can see the spiral happening right in front of you. So you do what any loving mom would do: “It's going to be okay.” “We'll figure this out.” “Take a breath.” And then… 😬 It doesn't work. She's overwhelmed. She's overthinking. When teen girls are overwhelmed, they don't need us to convince them that everything is okay. They need to know we have their back and to learn to find their way through the...

The mom behind the champion- So your daughter wants to compete

Why doesn't she believe it ? Hello Mom raising a teen daughter (or two, or three...)! You tell her she's beautiful. She brushes it off. You tell her you're proud of how hard she worked. She immediately starts listing everything she did wrong. You remind her she's funny, kind, talented, capable… And somehow, she still doesn't quite believe you. As moms, I think this is one of the hardest parts of raising teen girls. It's not that we don't tell them enough. It's that confidence isn't something...

...Well this is awkward*** Hello Mom raising a teen daughter (or two, or three...)! So she's doing pretty well. She has friends. She's satisfied at school. She loves her sport (or dance, or theatre, or art, or whatever her thing is). She laughs. She has fun. She seems happy. You might be wondering.... Why would she need something like The Happiness Path? And my answer is: She doesn't have to NEED it. She can simply Thrive. We don't wait until our daughters are struggling to teach them how to...
