Overwhelmed teens staying up late, avoiding, or just plain stressing out this holiday season?

Hi Reader,

So great to have you here raising resilient teen girls!

As the year winds down, many teens are carrying a mix of "yay a break!" and "holy crap I have so much to do" sense of urgency.

I should be further ahead.
I need to figure this out now.
Everyone else seems ready.

This is especially true for girls preparing for big transitions like preparing for high school, finishing high school, or stepping into something new and unknown.

One of the most powerful things we can remind our teens of right now is this:

They don’t need to solve everything right now.
They just need that next small step.

Confidence doesn’t come from having the whole game plan, it comes from Aligned Action.

One manageable task. One choice that creates a Movement Momentum.

How do we start this way?

Instead of asking ourselves:
“What do I need to get done before January?”

Try:
“What’s one small thing that would help today feel a bit lighter?”

"What's something I can do in the next 24 hours that will move me one step closer?"

"Who is someone I can ask today for a little help on this?"

Small wins matter. They calm the nervous system. They restore a sense of agency. And they build resilience.

With so much gratitude,

Chantal

In being more direct and honest with you......
