Reader, If you’re a parent of a teen girl who has recently lost her friends, this might ring painfully familiar. Mornings are dreaded. Heavy. Getting to school is a battle. You notice she is more silent, keeping to herself, more irritable. In the "I'm fine" quiet land. Losing friendships at this age isn’t just a social shift. For many girls, it shakes their world. Their sense of safety, identity, and confidence all gone at once. We hear girls say things like:
As parents, it can leave you heartbroken and heavy in your chest.... I know this matters to her… but I’m not sure how to help. Here’s what we know from working with teen girls every day: When friendships fall apart, girls often turn inward. They overthink & replay conversations, every little thing they said and did. Emotionally, they brace themselves just to get through the day. And without support, that stress can spill into school, sleep, confidence, and family life. This is exactly why we created The Happiness Path. We've opened our next cohort, that starts February 19th. A small group for girls ages 12–17 who are navigating moments just like this. This group is all about giving girls a connected, fun and creative opportunity to slow down and rebuild their inner footing. Girls in The Happiness Path will:
We intentionally keep this group small (capped at 8 girls) so it stays safe, connected, and supportive. As of today, we've got 6 spots remain. If your gut is telling you your daughter could use something steady, supportive, and human this winter, we’d love to hold space for her. Reader, The other day my business coach said something that made me pause and smile: “You’re giving people a license to live big.” And immediately, I thought of the teen girls we serve. Because while coping skills are important (and we absolutely teach them), they’re not the whole story. They need permission. Permission to: take up space have all the feelings want meaningful friendships try new things live a life that actually feels like theirs Teen girls can become very good at coping....
This year, I decided to take on a big personal development milestone: dismantling my money stories. 💰💸 (10/10 recommend… if you enjoy personal growth and moderate existential dread Reader ) It’s been a doozie mix of: Excitement ✔️Courage ✔️Sweaty palms ✔️Fear of judgment, not being liked, being misunderstood ✔️✔️✔️ I was challenged to do something wildly uncomfortable for me.
