A Free Courage Card For You

I've got a pocket, got a pocket full of....

Courage.

Thanks Natasha Bedingfield for inspiring me with your

pockets full of sunshine.

What does courage mean to you?

Brave.

Confident.

Ready.

But what if courage can come along with fear?

With nerves.

Uncertainty.

With “I'm really not sure about this…”

Because courage isn't always a roaring lion. 🦁

It's that (sometimes tiny) encouraging voice saying:

“Okay. Let's try.”

So I've created a little gift for your teen daughter.

🎴 Make Your Own Courage Card

It's a simple activity that invites her to imagine what

courage means to her.

Then she can create her own personal Courage Card, something to tuck into her journal, backpack, or maybe even her back pocket for the moments she needs it most.

GET THE COURAGE CARD

This little activity was inspired by the kinds of creative, reflective and experiential invitations we use inside The Happiness Path.

And if you know another parent who has a teen girl who could use a little reminder that courage doesn't mean being fearless...

Share the blog and pass this little gift along.

Because you never know who might need a

pocket full of courage today. 💗

join The Happiness Path. Choosing something for your daughter, especially something involving her confidence, well-being, relationships, and personal growth, is a big decision. And if you're wondering things like: What actually happens? What if she doesn't want to share? What if she doesn't know anyone? Is this therapy? What if she's already in therapy? What if she's actually doing pretty well? And perhaps most importantly… what if I bring it up and she immediately says,“Nope!” I've got you...
